I thank God daily for the wonderful boy you are becoming. What an awesome and amazing gift your daddy and I have been given. You are such a thoughtful, compassionate, caring and smart young man. You love your brother and your sister so much...they both adore you! J....you are a wonderful friend, a hard worker at school, a dedicated athlete, sweet cousin and loving grandson and nephew. You have changed my life in ways I could never tell you. You make me want to be a better person everyday. I could not be more proud of you and look forward to a year of fun, new adventures with you. I hope that you have a wonderful birthday and enjoy all the fun things we have planned for this weekend! I love you my sweetheart!!!!!

Happy New Year!

It is a little late, but..... Happy New Year!

This time of year always creates a little panic in me. I seem to always have a list of "plans" for the year and many to-do lists, but then January rolls around and it sends me into a tailspin. My resolution is not have any resolutions! Sure - there are plenty of things I want to get done, but most of all I just want to enjoy each day as it comes.
I have been meaning to post this picture. We had breakfast with Santa the Sunday before Christmas, and Mr. Sweet B want so badly to sit on Santa's lap to tell him that he wanted a green lego airplane. B hopped right up there, told Santa what he wanted and then just sat there. He kept peeking at him from the corner of his eye. He did NOT want to get down! Finally we convinced him to get down and B proceeded to have a meltdown because he didn't understand why Santa didn't give him the green lego airplane right then and there.
Oh, to be a 3 year old again!

J had his first basketball game of the season on Saturday.
He loves sports and loves to talk about sports more than anything.
(We think he may have a future career as an ESPN commentator!)

Little Ms. A had her 4 month check up last week.
She is growing like a weed and she is SUCH a happy girl!

Hope everyone is off to a great 2010!
My goal is to organize my laundry room and the kids' playroom this month!
I'll let you know how it goes.

Family Fun

Well, the Christmas rush is almost over and I am wrapping up orders and getting shoots edited, almost done! Taking a break to share this sneak peek!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with these 3 adorable and fun children and their family! I had a blast!! Their mom is always up for letting me try new things and just capturing how much fun they all have together. (We even played London Bridges!!) These girls love their brother and he knows it! Wendy, I just had to share this picture - it really says so much about your children!

Sweet Peaches for Christmas

Other than my own three children, there isn't anyone else I would rather take pictures of than my sweet niece! Her daddy calls her "sweet peaches", and she is just that! She adores her mommy and she is a daddy's girl. Ms. M likes to be serious for her Aunt Bev, but I love the pictures anyway :) Her mom and dad got a kick out of me making all kinds of crazy noises to get her attention. It was quite comical! Thanks for asking me to take some family photos - I had a great time.

Sweet peaches...I love you!

Happy Birthday Mom!

I want to wish my Mom a very Happy Birthday!
We got together on Sunday with my parents, my sister, brother-in-law and my super cute niece to celebrate.
We had a great time and got a few pictures of the grandchildren (minus the oldest).
She is a wonderful Nana, always making each one feel special even in the midst of all the chaos "at the zoo"!
Hope you enjoy your day Mom....I love you!

Just Like They Are....

My dear friend Kristen asked me to capture her sweet boys "just as they are right now". A few years ago when her oldest son was born, my oldest son was moving out of the toddler age and he was changing so much, and I remember telling her to capture those moments because the time passes by too quickly. Well, we did just that! "C" will be heading off to kindergarten next year and "B" is quickly heading to the preschool stage, so we had a fun afternoon at the park just playing and having a great time. These boys are so much fun and too adorable. Kristen, this sneak peek is for you!

Ms. A!

It's been awhile since I last blogged.....I want to introduce you to the reason why!
This is my sweet baby girl....
My husband and I thought we were done having children, as we have two wonderful boys that keep our days (and nights!) busy....busy....busy. Last Christmas we got an unexpected gift in finding out we were expecting. She isn't quite a month old yet, but we already cannot imagine life without her.

I have some sessions scheduled soon, and can't wait to get back into the swing of things, but until then, I am enjoying my time with this sweet girl.
